Love Thursday

1. I love that the photo shoot I had with my kids went so well today. If you're in San Antonio and need a fantastic photographer who's great with kids, call Donna Gustin Photography RIGHT NOW (because she's talented, charming and working for half the price in 2008!). She came to our home, put the kids (and me) at ease, used natural light, started shooting as soon as she arrived and we got some beautiful shots. You can see a few of them here on her blog. Seriously--it's not too late to book Donna for a session with you and your kids. And you can use the resulting gorgeous photos for your Christmas cards.

2. I love that I got nearly all of my Christmas shopping done on Amazon last night and that it all shipped out today. Never has Christmas shopping been so easy.

3. I love that someone just won one of our "Teacher" onesies! Congratulations, Ginny. I'm shipping it out tomorrow.

Love Thursday: the Crab Crawl

My son is crawling! And, as monumental as his achievement is (to me, anyway), I can't help but remember the day his sister started to crawl. Her attempt wasn't a traditional crawl but the girl still got around. We called it the Crab Crawl and she sure was adorable as she skittered across the floor.

Love Thursday

My daughter doesn't have preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays and today she drove me BONKERS. I don't know who came up with the term, "Terrible Twos" but they most certainly had not lived through the "Torturous Threes" yet. Still, with all of the challenges she threw at me today (and throws at me regularly, *ahem*), I love her to bits. I adore her. She slays me. She is the funniest, most fearless, gutsiest girl I know and I'm so proud she is my daughter. You know, when she's not making me want to jump out a window.
